Crisis & Counseling Centers is a collaborative and comprehensive behavioral health agency operating in Central Maine. We are currently seeking a dynamic and organized individual to provide administrative support to the medication management program. This person will serve as the communication liaison for relevant patient information with agency outpatient providers.

The ideal candidate would:

  • Track and maintain status of med clinic psychiatric charts to assure all necessary documentation is current and meets agency and State of Maine regulations/requirements.
  • Schedule patient appointments for MAT and Psychiatric meds.
  • Compile pertinent information from client’s intake file for new clients visiting the med clinic for initial evaluation with prescriber.
  • Manage updates of client database to reflect current chart information. Track/maintain med clinic psychiatric charts for medication updates and record in database.
  • Check clients in, complete patient administrative intake, and document administrative progress notes in electronic health record (EHR).
  • Meet with clients via Telehealth for communication and as needed to assist the Medication Management Provider.
  • Meet with clients via Telehealth for communication and as needed to assist the Medication Management Provider.
  • Correspond with area pharmacies who are requesting prescriber authorization regarding client medications.
  • Assist with other requests from prescriber as needed.

Education/Experience requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Administrative experience in an office environment required. Experience working in a medical office with an EHR preferred.
  • Proficient use of computer databases, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Adobe Acrobat, and other software required.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, with strong communication skills and close attention to detail.

Hours:

This is a full-time position. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Location:

This position will be based out of our main office, which is located in Augusta, ME.

Pay rate:

This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Pay starts at $18/hour.
