Our substance use disorder treatment programs are growing. We are looking to hire a CADC or LADC to work remotely and in our Augusta office. Our programs emphasize the implementation of best practices for integrated treatment of co-occurring disorders and we have been recognized as a Center of Excellence in this area of treatment. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician that would like to broaden their experience working in a collaborative, multi-faceted clinical team environment.
 
The ideal candidate would:
  • Attend to the presence of co-occurring disorders through screening, referral and/or motivational intervention within their individual scope of practice and competence.
  • Provide counseling services that require substance use disorder treatment services.
  • Complete comprehensive client assessments, specific substance use evaluations, and/or treatment, or other services as specifically required.
  • Recognize client risk factors to ensure any needed interventions and services are effective from the initial stages through case closure.
  • Attend and utilize supervision to support effective treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and complete clinical records, prepared in a timely manner, in compliance with the licensing, agency and program-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with other substance use disorder, mental health, crisis service and psychiatric service providers as appropriate to their program and role in that program.
  • Participate in inter-program or inter-agency consultation as directed by their supervisor(s) in the interest of providing best practice integrated co-occurring services.
Education/Experience requirements:
  • CADC licensure required, LADC licensure preferred.
  • DEEP certification, preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience working with clients co-occurring disorders preferred.
  • Experience in providing various modalities of treatment such as 1:1, group, or as part of an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) service preferred.
  • Flexibility in order to meet client needs.

Hours:
This is a full-time position. Hours are flexible and will fall generally between the 8:00am and 5:00pm; Monday through Friday.
Location:
This position will be a combination of remote and office work, based mainly out of our Augusta office.
Pay rate:
This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Pay ranges from $23/hour to $25/hour.
